Melissa Marie Hernandez is a published photographer, welder, and metal artist with over 20 years in the creative industry. A graduate of the Community College of Philadelphia and Moore College of Art & Design, she has worked with clients including Macy’s, Farfetch, DFA Records, Drexel University, the University of Delaware, Beasley Allen Law Firm, AD News, Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia, and Condé Nast.
Her photography has been featured internationally, including contributions to FOTOFOLIO, an underground black-and-white journal curated by Gusmano Cesaretti. During the pandemic, Melissa expanded her artistic practice into metal fabrication, completing a four-year welding apprenticeship and emerging as a journeyman welder and metal artist. Through MELTWELDING.COM, she brings her metalwork to clients and collectors across the country.
Melissa currently resides on the East Coast with her significant other, her dog, goat, and cats, where her roots—and her art—continue to grow.
